2026 is here, and there is no better time to commit to your music than now!

What can you do to make 2026 your best musical year yet?

  • We will say it until we are blue in the face, but consistent practice is a MUST to grow in your instrument! The easiest way to make this a habit is to choose a specific time of day and to practice at this same time every day. It takes 30 days to make a habit, so give it 30 days and you should be golden!

  • Have you ever thought about writing your own music? If not, why not?! You don’t even have to write a song! Just sit down and noodle around and write down what sounds pleasing to you. Keep a journal of your work, and add to it often. You never know when inspiration will hit.

  • Don’t stay stuck in a rut! Be brave and put yourself out there! Learn a new instrument, or try out a new song that is in a totally different genre than you are used to. Learning is growing!

  • Always, always, always warm up! Whether you are singing or playing an instrument, warming up is so very vital to your success.
